Rumah Jelita means ‘beautiful house’ in the Indonesian language. Tucked away from the hustle-bustle of Monkey Forest Road, this charming bed and breakfast in the very center of Ubud offers a peaceful respite. Sitting on the terrace you would never know that you are steps away from the royal palace, the traditional market, Sacred Monkey Forest, the Yoga Barn, Taksu Spa, art museums, world class restaurants, and nightly dance performances.
Not only is Rumah Jelita perfectly positioned to offer immediate access to all Ubud has to offer, but the neighborhood is secure and safe. Even if you are a woman traveling alone you will have complete peace of mind knowing that in this small community of neighbors, everyone knows everyone and we look out for each other.
My name is Ketut Partadana. I was born in Bali, in a mountain village near Kintamani. My father and brothers were woodcarvers but I was more interested in working with people than wood. As manager of Rumah Jelita, I welcome you to your vacation home-away-from-home. It is my pleasure to ensure that your stay here is effortless and enjoyable. I look forward to your visit and I hope that your time in Bali will be filled with magic.
